Annual Fund

The Impact of Giving

As a non-profit, independent school, The New School relies on generous gifts to provide critical support to our operating budget above and beyond tuition. The Annual Fund is a time of philanthropy and giving in our community, and includes fun and engaging events for both our students and families. These gifts have an immediate and direct benefit to each student and faculty member, as well as to the quality and range of all school programs.

Tuition covers approximately 80% of the cost to educate each student at The New School, with fundraising covering the remaining 20%.

2024 Annual Fund events will begin on November 14 and end on December 3 (Giving Tuesday), with a fundraising goal of $350,000. Giving is encouraged during this time period, but any and all gifts to the Annual Fund are welcome throughout the year. Please consider making a contribution that will enable us to continue providing a unique approach to education that can only be found at The New School!
